CPA Attends LES China Annual Meeting
During 9-11 December 2009, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA), represented by Ms. Jenny Wang, Director of the Board and Senior Counsel, Mr. Dong Jiangxiong and Mr. Wu Yuhe, Directors of the Legal Affairs Department, in the capacity of standing council member/member of Licensing Executives Society China (LES China), attended LES China’s annual meeting in Hainan Province. Over 40 participants from the courts, governments, universities, R&D institutes and IP agencies were present at the occasion.
Highlights of the meeting included a speech delivered by Judge Luo Dongchuan, Deputy Director of the Research Division of the Supreme People’s Court, on the latest development of IP licensing, technology transfer and judicial protection for intellectual property rights. The meeting has also provided an exchange forum for the participating LES China members. Intense discussions have revolved around topics like the current situation and existing issues confronting China’s import and export trades, and R&D cooperation as well as technology transfer between the academic and commercial sectors.
