CPA Deputy General Manager Elected Assistant Report General of AIPPI Bureau 

On 22 October 2024, AIPPI (the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) World Congress was held in Hangzhou, China. We are pleased to report that at the executive meeting conducted during the congress, Mr. Xiong Yanfeng, deputy general manager of our firm China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA), was elected assistant reporter general of the Bureau of the AIPPI.

The AIPPI is a leading non-governmental IP advisory body under the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of IP. It is based in Switzerland with about 8,700 members from over 130 countries and regions. The Bureau is AIPPI's highest governance and management body and is responsible for coordinating the organisation and operation of the association's various work.

CPA is one of the earliest-established patent and trademark agencies in China, providing application, litigation, mediation, licensing, assignment and consulting services to domestic and foreign IP rights holders in the areas of patent, trademark, copyright, domain name and unfair competition.
