CPA Participates in 38th MARQUES Annual Conference

On 24-27 September 2024, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) attended the 38th Annual Conference of MARQUES (European Association of Trademark Owners) held in Stockholm, Sweden. CPA's delegates comprised our Trademark Department (Beijing Office) deputy manager Ms. Nicole Yu, Munich Office director Mr. Deng Ming, and trademark attorney Ms. Tang Huaming.

The theme of this MARQUES conference was "The Many Traits of the Trademark Expert", covering topics such as litigation and public opinion; working outside the comfort zone; understanding local traditions; guiding consumer values; successful online rights protection; and the latest EU case law on trademarks and designs. As an important gathering of IP professionals, the MARQUES conference provided a unique opportunity for the industry participants to discuss the latest trends, challenges and developments in the field of intellectual property. Our delegation members, apart from benefiting from the insights and information shared during the conference sessions, also took the full advantage of the opportunity to exchange and discuss trademark issues of mutual concern with industry peers from across the world, and actively participated in the workshops organised by the conference.
