CPA Takes Part in Drafting the First National Standard for Patent Fee Management Specifications for Innovative Entities
China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) has earlier submitted an application to take part in a project on "Specifications of Patent Fee Management for Innovative Entities" ("the Specifications"), in response to an invitation for public submission under the "Notice of the Standardization Administration on Issuing the Fifth Batch of Recommended National Standards and Foreign Language Versions of Relevant Standards in 2024". Recently, we received the approval to go ahead with the project, and drafting of the Specifications has already begun.
We are glad to have the opportunity of taking part in this project, and considered it a chance of offering our expertise and experience to contribute to the making of the first national standard for patent fee management for innovative entities in China, which is a gap to be filled in existing relevant intellectual property (IP) management specifications in the country.
The Specifications will include strategies and suggestions for patent fee management for innovative entities, covering, among others, fee management decision-making, management process, risk prevention and control, fee trusteeship, and management assurance.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of CPA. In this new phase of our development, CPA will make full use of its 40 years of experience and expertise in foreign-related IP services to provide enterprises with a full range of one-stop IP legal services for patent and trademark applications and IP management.
