CNIPA Delegation Visit CPA Hong Kong

On 30 July 2024, the Hong Kong headquarters of China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) warmly welcomed a delegation of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

The delegation, led by Mr. Ge Shu, deputy commissioner of the Patent Office and director general of the Strategic Planning Department of the CNIPA, were met by our deputy general managers Mr. Sun Jiuchun, Mr. Xiong Yanfeng, and Mr. Hu Gang together with relevant department managers.

During the meeting, the CNIPA delegation and our colleagues delved into a number of domestic patent-related issues, among them improvement of patent examination efficiency, assurance of patent examination quality, and development status of patent agency industry. In addition, issues related to intellectual property services in the upcoming China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) were also discussed.
