CPA Ranked Top Tier Patent Prosecution and Trademark Prosecution Firm Again & 5 CPA Litigators Named Outstanding IP Practitioners in MIP IP Stars 2024  

The Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) magazine has recently released the results of its IP Stars 2024 rankings. China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) is glad to report that in this year's MIP rankings, our firm was again ranked a Tier 1 firm in both patent prosecution and trademark prosecution categories; in addition, CPA was on MIP 's recommendation lists for both patent contentious and trademark contentious work.

The rankings were derived based on six months' interviews, e-mail, and online surveys of thousands of corporations and law firms; publicly available information (such as those disclosed by the courts and IP offices); and information submitted by firms, taking into account factors such as the candidates' caseload, work quality, professional proficiency, attorney team, client feedback, and market reputation, with a focus on work done or concluded in the previous year. Our firm is honoured to be rated a top tier firm for years in a row for patent prosecution and a top tier firm for trademark prosecution again this year, reflecting peers and clients' recognition of our technical expertise and our unswerving devotion to providing professional and quality service.

Also, we are pleased to share that in addition to being named a leading IP firm, CPA had five attorneys on MIP's concurrently revealed 2024 lists of global outstanding IP practitioners, in which general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe and deputy general manager Mr. Xiong Yanfeng continued to win the title of Patent Star; deputy general manager Mr. Hu Gong named again as Trademark Star; and Electricity Department manager Mr. Liu Peng and litigator Mr. Tang Chunlong selected as Notable Practitioner.
