Benchmark Litigation China 2024 Recommends CPA Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai Offices as Distinguished IP Dispute Resolution Firms & Names Three CPA Senior Attorneys as Litigation Stars 

On 4 June 2024, the 2024 rankings of Benchmark Litigation China Awards were announced. The rankings provide an authoritative guide to the most distinguished dispute resolution firms and lawyers of China's major provinces and municipalities. 

We are pleased to share that China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA)'s Beijing Office, Shenzhen Office, and Shanghai Office were all on the list of Benchmark Litigation's recommended firms of the year in intellectual property (IP) dispute resolution in China. In addition, CPA deputy general manager Mr. Xiong Yanfeng, Legal Affairs Department deputy manager Mr. Ke Ke, and litigator Mr. Tong Chunlong were recognised as Litigation Stars in the field of IP. 

The 2024 rankings were based on nine months' research during which extensive interviews were made with dispute resolution specialists, litigators and clients, taking into account recent casework handled by the candidate law firms, as well as client feedback and legal practitioners' opinions within their jurisdiction or practice area. As noted by Benchmark Litigation, "[b]eing nominated alone reflects each firm’s and lawyer’s impressive performance and contribution to evolving legal landscapes", and the awards "aimed to celebrate and recognise those firms, lawyers and cases that pushed boundaries, had wide social impacts and assisted in shaping jurisprudence".

The rankings cover eight provinces and municipalities in China, with separate lists for the respective practice areas of intellectual property, commercial disputes, international arbitration, government and regulatory, bankruptcy and reorganisation, and construction and real estate.
