CPA Honoured as Recommended Firm for IP Dispute Resolution & Two CPA Senior Attorneys Named Litigation Stars 

in Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2024

Recently, the 2024 edition of Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Awards was released. China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) is pleased to report that our firm was again named a "Recommended Firm" for intellectual property (IP) dispute resolution in China, an honour we have been awarded for seven years in a row. In addition, CPA deputy general managers Mr. Xiong Yanfeng and Mr. Hu Gang continued to be recognised as "Litigation Star" in the field of IP in China. 

The Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific rankings identify leading litigation firms and lawyers through extensive interviews with litigators, dispute resolution specialists and their clients as well as analysis of the market’s most important cases and the firms' developments.

Concurrently, Benchmark Litigation also published its inaugural Benchmark Litigation Asia Market Trends Report 2024. The report, scouring and extracting useful data from lawyer and client surveys as well as research interviews, provides an analysis of why cross-border disputes are becoming increasingly common, explores how practitioners are choosing seats of arbitration, and highlights the new hottest areas of disputes, namely, fintech, corporate crimes and investigations, and data protection and privacy.

Benchmark Litigation was first published in 2008, covering litigation and disputes markets initially in United States and Canada, and expanding to include the Asia-Pacific region in 2018. 

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of CPA, and at the same time it is also the 40th anniversary of the promulgation of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China.
