CPA General Manager Interviewed by Chain Expo Salon of People's Daily Online

On 2 December 2023, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe was interviewed by the Chain Expo Salon of People's Daily Online. He was invited to share his observations on the first China International Supply Chain Expo held during 26 November to 2 December 2023 in Beijing.

In the interview, Mr. Wu expressed his view that the chain expo is a very good platform for drawing foreign investment as well as facilitating the going abroad of domestic enterprises. Speaking of legal services on-site, he said that apart from the commonly available services of legal consultation and advice on dispute resolution, this expo featured two innovative services, namely, the acceptance of patent and trademark applications and the preservation of evidence for non-prejudicial disclosure purpose in respect of the new technology showcased by the exhibitor at the expo. Our firm also has participated in providing these services during the expo.

Regarding the five supply chains of smart vehicle, green agriculture, clean energy, digital technology, and healthy life, which were highlights of this expo, Mr. Wu pointed out that CPA has a strong team of professional talents well-matched to the full spectrum of the technical fields relating to these five chains. Mr. Wu further commented that the chain expo serves as a testimony of China's achievements in optimising IP protection and business environment and demonstrates the country's resolve to equally protect the IP rights of Chinese and foreign enterprises, which should contribute to greater opening up of China toward globalising the national economy.
