Involving the efforts of university scholars and industry experts in the compilation of relevant materials, the book took over a year to complete, and has now become a recommended book for the 2023 China Intellectual Property Annual Conference.
"The Law of Geographical Indications", on the basis of relevant domestic legislation and international treaties in force, details on the substantive knowledge relating to GI rights and procedural matters concerning applications for GI registration, under the content framework of basic GI systems; application for GI registration and examination of GI applications, exploitation and management of GI rights; legal liabilities for GI infringement; international protection of GI; and development and prospects of GI.
Combining basic theoretical knowledge, typical cases and practical experience, the book is mainly suitable for students majoring in law or intellectual property, and takes into account the training needs of GI practitioners.
