CPA Reaps Top Patent Agency & Trademark Firm Awards at CIPF Forum 2023

On 18 November 2023, the China Intellectual Property Forum (CIPF) 2023 cum the 5th Science and Technology Innovation Forum ("the Forum"), with the theme of "A new leap forward in independent innovation: intellectual property rules and best practices", were held in Beijing.

During the Forum, results of the CIPF rankings of intellectual property and anti-monopoly service capabilities in China of year 2023 were released. We are glad to share that China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was ranked as one of the Top 25 Patent Agencies, and that we occupied the first position in terms of overall strength; in addition, our firm was also on the list of Top 10 Trademark Firms. Representing CPA at the awards presentation ceremony was our deputy manager Mr. Hu Gang.

The rankings of CIPF's IP service capabilities survey were derived on the basis of materials supplied by information related to the candidate firms and professionals; review of past top ten cases awarded by the Supreme People's Court of China (SPC), the Beijing High Court, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, the Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court, and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA); as well as industry experts' opinions and deliberation.

At the forum, experts and academics from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the SPC, and relevant associations and institutions conducted keynote speeches and discussion on a number of hot topics including innovative development of China's chip industry, cooperation in science and technology industries along the Belt and Road, corporate trademark and brand strategies under the new situation, and patent protection strategies in the field of new energy vehicles.
