On 15 September 2023, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) chairman Mr. Ren Hongbin and his delegation visited the Hong Kong headquarters of China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) during his brief stopover in Hong Kong on route to Macau for the inaugural Business Conference on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development co-sponsored by the CCPIT.

 

CPA general manager Mr. Wu Yuhe and deputy general manager Mr. Sun Jiuchun together with our senior management at Hong Kong headquarters welcomed and met Mr. Ren and his delegation, while colleagues at our Beijing Office, Shenzhen Office, and Shanghai Office participated in the meeting via video link.

 

During the meeting, Mr. Ren highlighted CPA's tremendous efforts and accomplishments throughout the decades in helping foreign enterprises apply for patents and trademarks in the mainland as well as assisting Chinese enterprises in "going global" and extending their IP interests and protection abroad. Mr. Ren also expressed his hope that CPA will continue to serve Chinese and foreign enterprises in the realm of IP leveraging the development of the Greater Bay Area and contribute to the national strategies of high-quality IP development. After the meeting, Mr. Ren and his delegation were shown around the office and met our colleagues of various business departments.
