CPA Volunteer Team Attends HKEA's Initial Meeting on Community Care Team Work
On 22 March 2023, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA)'s volunteer team attended Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association (HKCEA)'s first meeting on community care team work for the island west district. The meeting was held in Everbright Centre in Wanchai, Hong Kong. "Care teams" are new initiatives announced in the 2022 policy address of the Hong Kong SAR Government to support community work across 18 districts of the territory.
The HKCEA care team (island west) is made up of the volunteer teams from eight of its member companies, which, apart from CPA, also include China Everbright Bank Co., Ltd. Hong Kong branch, the People's Insurance Company of China (Hong Kong) Ltd., China Development Bank Corp. Hong Kong branch, China National Aviation Corporation (Group) Limited, China Legal Service (Hong Kong) Ltd., Yunnan Tiancheng Technology Co., Ltd., and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited.
During the meeting, representatives from the said member companies contributed ideas to formulate the direction of the care team's future regular activities as well as discussed the obligation to be assumed by respective members. Moreover, the meeting has decided on some activities for the first half of the year.
