Representative Cases
- Acted for a well-known European automotive company in successfully defending against repeated invalidity attacks filed by petitioners on a same patent and assisting the patentee in maintaining the validity of the patent;
- Acted for a German manufacturing company in successfully defending against an invalidity attack and maintaining the validity of the patent right, which was selected as one of the Top 10 patent reexamination and invalidation cases of 2020;
- Acted for a German manufacturing company in successfully revoking a decision on rejection, and won a new client for CPA: after the case was rejected, the original agency told the applicant that there was no prospect of success; the applicant approached CPA for a second opinion; upon review of the case, he provided satisfying opinions and successfully persuaded the examiner without making any claim restrictions; after the case was allowed, the applicant immediately transferred a number of cases to CPA.
